If you have been designing in the Because editor, you may have seen our latest update on how users can create content! Introducing Playbooks! Playbooks are the first step (and the simplest way) for users to get inspired and create Banners and Text Elements that convert.  

Our team has been working hard to bring automation to your content that increases conversion across your Shopify store, and this is another step in that direction.

Tie strategic rules into your designs

Playbooks offer 11 categories that you can choose from, to create content. From ‘product info’ to ‘shipping’ to ‘upsell’ and ‘reviews’ - you can immediately get some inspiration and automate your content in these categories.

Once you click on a Playbook category, you will be taken to pre-made templates that fit within that one category you selected.

For example, if we click on ‘shipping’ - you can see all of the pre-made and designed templates on shipping. Each design already has a rule attached to it, that you can customize further.

All of the designs are able to be edited even further in case you want them to match up to your branding or strategically place them where you would like. You can also inherit your Shopify theme styling and match your campaigns. Meaning any campaign you create will automatically match your Shopify theme fonts, colors, sizing, etc (typically from your product description styles).

As with the goal of the Rules Engine - Playbooks has the same goal, to allow you to have greater control over your messaging and when your content appears. The goal is to let you automate your content across your site, so it shows up at the right time, to the right customer.
